Electric Vehicles to Be Huge

There has been so much talk about the development of new cars which do not run on fuel, but rather run on electricity. But a huge amount of people are still asking the question as to when these will be developed. I mean don't get me wrong we currently have electric vehicles on the road but they literally take hours to charge and only drive for a few miles.

Well things are now getting a lot different because electric car creation company Tesla Motors have recently said the new Tesla Motor which can literally hit 60MPH in just under 4 seconds, besides that the vehicle can give you just over 220 miles of drive time on a three hour charge. But although the achievement is great, it is still something that needs a vast amount of work.

I actually believe that if the electric vehicles are going to go mainstream then they must have less charges and last longer. There is no way people are going to spend three hours a day simply charging their vehicles. Charging points must be created like petrol stations, so people can quickly top up and move on.

I literally believe that this is exactly how things will plan out, simply because thousands of people would lose their jobs if petrol stations shut down. So I can say with some confidence that the government just will not allow this to happen, they would instead use charge points as a way to boost the economy.
